Training

The team members have been training since the summer of '01 in order to achieve the physical fitness necessary to succeed during the expedition. The trainings include running in the Amsterdam Vondelpark or on the beach, climbing indoor, swimming in icecold water or working out in the gym. Mountain biking, hiking with a heavy pack and other indurance sports are also great for stamina.

We train about 4 times a week on average, alterning power and stamina trainings. As a matter of fact ski-mountaineering in the Alps is a perfect training, so we were "obliged" to opt that several times!
