02.04.2003   Amphu Lapcha Pass crossed. Entire team ready for Island Peak

Since our last update we had incredible (but very straining) days through the Honku valley and crossing the very difficult Amphu Lapcha pass (5820 m).

Falco recovered well and is doing tricks as if nothing happened. Greg's toe is also recovering and with a big pair of shoes he will attempt to summit Island Peak with the whole team..

Today (April 2nd) we will go up from Chuckung to high camp and on April 3rd we will make one su one summit bid on Island Peak with the team and climbing sherpas Ang Pemba and Mingma.

Look at Falco skiing down from the Amphu Lapcha. The best proof of his recovery!
