17.03.2003 Ringmo to Kharikhola (2125 m)
The first full day of trek! After a 300 m climb, a 1600 m descent to the Dudh Kosi river followed. At the lunch spot we dived into the river to fresh up. From the Dudh Kosi we climbed a hot 500 m to Kharikhola where we had a warm welcome in Ngima's lodge.
